When purchasing sensory resources, make sure you use a reputable supplier - some of what you see on more generalised shopping websites may look the same, but won't have the same sensory properties and effects. Unfortunately, some piece of equipment will be expensive and it would be unsafe to use a cheaper alternative.
Good suppliers often provide safety guidance around the use of items as well, such as weighted items.
