Understanding Sensory Regulation

We are able to offer our Sensory Regulation online or face-to-face training as a 'closed' course, i.e. just for your school, service or setting at a cost of £1485 for up to 30 staff from not-for-profits organisations, including social care. Children with developmental trauma often have great difficulty regulating themselves - both their emotions and their behaviour - and can present huge challenges in terms of supporting them effectively. We are increasingly understanding the importance of the sensory system in regulation and how this can help children to engage in relationships, therapy and learning.

We are delighted to offer live online training via Teams to develop knowledge and understanding of sensory regulation as well as providing ideas for practical activities and resources. The training will be run as two 3-hour sessions online or one full day face-to-face and is based on our experience of what has been effective when working with individuals or small groups of children.
