Our live, online training will help you to develop key knowledge and understanding of sensory regulation, as well as provide you with ideas for practical activities and learning resources.

Session One

  • We will learn how the sensory system affects childrens ability to focus, learn and function calmly.
  • You'll be introduced to The Wibbly Wobbly Ones - children's stories exploring the sensory experiences of children affected by trauma and neurodiversity - and learn how to use these stories in your setting or service.

Session Two

  • We will explore practical activities that will help you to assist children as they engage in relationships, therapy and learning.
  • You'll focus on applying what we learned in Session One to put together a plan for supporting children and young people in your specific setting.

Our programme is focused on application - theoretical understanding will be supplemented with practical activities and free resources to help you work better with the children.
