50km... That's Right 50
Just as we’re starting to ask people to Act Now. Not in a minute - one of our trustees has decided to do just that (and some). We’re so excited and proud that Sam is putting his body on the line, by running a whopping 50km.

The Race to Treat ACEs
You’ve heard of 'Couch to 5k', so imagine ten times that. This certainly isn’t for the faint-hearted (do not try this at home). Even though Sam is in a better position than most, being a personal trainer, this is still the biggest fitness challenge he’s ever taken on.
He’s doing what most people couldn’t imagine because he believes in Adenydd and giving the next generation the tools they need to move on from childhood trauma.
Change Starts Today
Without action, the cycle will continue, and Adverse Childhood Experiences will be something that will haunt kids into adulthood, before it’s passed on. Sam’s action is the urgency that inspires us all to make a positive change in the right direction. This is an issue that affects our society, not only here in Wales but everywhere.
How You Can Act Now As Well
We at Adenydd want to continue dedicating our time and energy to helping children recover from childhood trauma and developmental issues. So please join us in backing Sam on his heroic ultra marathon, and donating whatever you can through the link below.
Diolch yn fawr (& diolch Sam)
